The Kerrville flooding hits home. I knew Nicole was okay, as she’s not in that particular area; but I was thinking about Courtney, who is in that general area – and I spent some time in Kerrville during my Big Ride (i.e., the 11,000 mile ride around the circumference of the Unites States).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kerrville is one of those more memorable places because of the terrain, which is very different from the rest of Texas. In fact, I camped a couple of nights in Kerrville, and I remember specifically talking to a guy about how a lot of people send their kids to summer camps around Kerrville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remember taking rides around the area, and I definitely remember riding down along the river, which was beautiful. I don’t think I took any ride videos, as I recall the rides being curvy with lots of surprises. Totally fun – but not so good for filming at that time. Here’ s some from camp.<\/p>\n\n\n
