While looking at some old posts, I came across this one with some pictures and a video of a private party and screening of ‘Citizen Kane’ (1941) in the movie theater within Hearst Castle. Since this was produced on an older platform, I’m no longer able to see what was wrote at the time – but thankfully at least some of the pictures were saved.

I can’t believe it was almost ten years ago. It was such an amazing evening – one never to be forgotten. I was alone, didn’t feel like chatting with anyone, and no one seemed to mind me wandering around the grounds on my own. I went in-and-out of various rooms, and I got to see areas of Hearst Castle not offered to the general public on any tour.
