Wow – I just pulled over. I was driving down Winding Way in Fair Oaks, and the most fucking beautiful young wolf I’ve ever seen was running along side me and stopped – and we looked at each other. Fucking cool.
Eye-to-eye. I saw him. He saw me. Reminds me of Carlos Castaneda, the teachings of Don Juan, and the meaning of those things. Someone sent me a spiritual guide to help me with my personal journey. How very kind.

A wolf is an interesting choice. Known for their loyalty while maintaining individualism, setting aside libelous attacks about them in the bible, a wolf often symbolizes freedom, resourcefulness, and fierce adaptability.
I think the direct eye contact was intentional, like a stern reminder of the interconnectedness between us. Letting me know he’s around to offer us protection and guidance, as we embark on this new adventure together.

Two more weeks. In two weeks, I will again be living (mostly) alone – with a lot less shit around the house. There’s a fuck-ton of work to be done to get this place back to a better state, and I’m excited about gettin it done.

I decided to have two home offices: One for work and study, and another one for going through boxes of memorabilia. This will be very interesting. I haven’t gone through those boxes in more than a dozen or so years. Eek.

I’m totally looking forward to this week. I could use a road trip, and I definitely could use some quality time. Accordingly, FairWell Festival 2025 in Central Oregon (Redmond) couldn’t come at a better time.

Additionally, a few days after Nicole leaves for Texas, I’m heading to San Francisco for Dead & Company’s 60 Years of the Grateful Dead; and, like everyone else, I too wanna know: Will Billy Strings, Sturgill Simpson, & Trey Anastasio Sit In With Dead & Co At Golden Gate Park? Hmm…

Good times 🙂
